DIY pedestal stand

I love decorating with pedestal stands or candle holders. Whenever I’m putting anything on a shelf or a table, I like to have things on different levels, it makes for a more interesting display. I’ve made some pedestal bowls before from thrift store candle sticks and bowls. And I use them so much, that I always wish I had more of them! So when I was putting together my Halloween decorations, I knew I was going to have to come up with some genius way to create some new pedestal stands… And here it is!!!

All you need are some table legs and something flat to put on top of it. I used a wall shield, an electrical wall plate, some rosette moulding, and a post cap

If you are using wood on wood, you can just drill a hole, and attach your table leg to the post cap or moulding piece. If you are using the wall plate, just use hot glue or E6000 glue.

Let them dry.

Then finish however you’d like. I spray painted two of mine, and stained the other one.

Then use them to decorate. I use them to decorate my cafe shelves every season!
