Focaccia Sandwich Recipe

Weeknights at my house are crazy! Between all the different sports, church, and school activities, trying to throw in a hot, delicious meal is next to impossible! So I’m always on the lookout for quick and easy dinner recipes. I was excited to try out this Focaccia Sandwich recipe from Rhodes because it looked amazing, but didn’t seem like it would take forever to make. And let me tell you, my family gobbled this baby up! Not only was it quick and easy to make, but it was super delicious as well.

And, I’m not going to lie, after I pulled these out of the oven, we ate them in the car on the way to basketball practice, so they are super kid friendly and not messy at all. And my family would much rather these focaccia sandwiches than a PB&J.

Focaccia Sandwich How to

This focaccia sandwich has layers of yummy meat, with melted cheese on the top. I used pepperoni and Canadian bacon with provolone cheese, but next time I think I’m going to use turkey, Swiss, and throw some veggies on there too. Yum!

My kids called this a “sandwich pizza”. They though it was hilarious that it was both a sandwich and a pizza. Kids are fascinated by the most simple things. haha!

I loved mine dipped in marinara sauce, but I’m thinking the Turkey and Swiss variation would be delicious in a honey mustard sauce too. Honestly, this recipe can be changed up however you and you family would like it.

And did I mention I made this focaccia sandwich recipe using Rhodes frozen dough? Yeah! Suuuuper easy and delicious! I shared this entire recipe over on their site. Click here to find my focaccia sandwich recipe on Rhodes Blog.
