How to Build an Easel Chalkboard- free building plans

I’m excited to show you how to build a DIY easel chalkboard.

I have always loved using chalkboards in my decor, but I don’t like switching them out on my wall, so I decided to build an easel chalkboard. I love these chalkboards because you can use them literally anywhere!

I really wanted to build these chalkboards for the holidays so I could display our menu and have a cute welcome sign for all of the entertaining we will be doing over the next few months.

I have free building plans for a larger size chalkboard, and also a smaller child size chalkboard. I’m actually really glad I build two, because as soon as I started doodling on my chalkboard, you know my kids wanted to join in! This size is just perfect for my little ones!
