2021 Young Women Theme (A Great Work)- free printable

The 2021 Young Women theme is so great! I’m so excited to share this free printable with you.

young women activity idea

For 2021, the Young Women theme is “A Great Work”. The Young Women in my ward came up with this great young women activity idea to frame the theme to put up in their room.

The girls had so much fun putting these together, and they turned out so cute!

You can use these printables to make these fun poster hangers, or you can print them smaller for bookmarks, or simply frame them whatever size you’d like.

For this Young Women activity, I came up with 4 different options, and let the girls choose which one they wanted to make.

A fun young women activity idea for the girls in your ward or stake.

Materials

  • 1- Free printable poster (18"x24")
  • 2- 1x2 boards (20")
  • 1- Jute string (23")

Tools

  • Hot glue and glue sticks, scissors.

Instructions

  1. Download my free young women theme printable (link included in blog post). Print whatever size you'd like. For this project, we printed them 18"x24".
  2. Prepare wood ahead of time by cutting 1x2 boards into 20" long lengths. Each girl will need TWO boards.
  3. Have the girls sand the boards and either stain or paint them. We used watered down brown paint to create a faux stain, since we didn't want the fumes of the stain in the church.
  4. Hot glue the poster onto the back of the boards.
  5. Hot glue jute string onto the back of the board.
  6. Let cool, then hang!

  1. Hello,
I really love your designs! I am having trouble printing it though. where did you get them done, and what paper did you request? it looks like it is a bit thinner which i liked.

    thank you

    1. Hi Kate,

You can print posters like this at many local copy stores. I used Staples for mine, and chose the cheapest quality of paper. You may also find a blueprint shop in your area that could print large posters like this.

      Thanks and good luck!

  2. These are very nice. I did notice that the scripture is quoted incorrectly though. It says “require” instead of “requireth” on every one and on image 2 there’s an extra “the” after “require”. Still using it for a class presidency binder though!

  3. I would love to use this for girls camp this year. I can only see the download for the first poster, not the other 3. I wonder if there’s a way to access all 4 prints. Thanks for sharing your talents and time!

    1. Hi Jen, thanks so much for letting me know. I went in and changed it. So you should be able to click on the link above and it will download all four options at once.

      Thanks!!

  4. Thank you so much for putting this together. We are going to use it for girls camp. When I click on the download link, it is only downloading one of the possible printables. Can you tell me how to get all four? Thank you!

  5. I am going to share this with my sister! She helps with an after-school weekly program for older kids at her church! Thank you so much for sharing it with us!
