7 reasons to take your toddler to Disneyland!

Earlier this year we took our family to Disneyland. My in-laws came along, and we all had a great time! Our kids were 7, 5, and 2, and let me tell you, I spent a LOT of extra stress worrying about how my 2 year old would do on the trip. But, I really didn’t need to worry, because everything went SO well, and we had the time of our lives! In fact, I loved taking my toddler to Disneyland so much that I’m sad I didn’t take my older kids when they were younger. Don’t get me wrong, they had fun too. But nothing is quite as magical as a toddler in Disneyland. So here are 7 reasons to take your toddler to Disneyland. (And did I mention we got a GREAT deal on our Disneyland tickets?)

 1. Kids under 3 are FREE in the park

If you’re worried you aren’t going to get your money’s worth with your toddler, you’re WRONG! Since toddlers are free in the park, you are sure to get your money’s worth.

2. Strollers are GREAT to have at Disneyland!

I was really worried about taking a stroller to Disneyland. I thought it would get in the way, and be a pain. Boy, was I wrong! I loved having a stroller to keep our waterbottles, snacks, diapers, and jackets in. I saw SO MANY people carrying backpacks and juggling things while on a ride, but I had mine safely tucked away in my stroller, which was safely parked in the stroller parking area. And it was a lifesaver for even our older kids, who just needed to rest every now and then.

 3. Rider Switch

Having a toddler at Disneyland doesn’t keep you from having fun! If there are rides you want to go on, you can do a Rider Switch. My husband would take the older kids and go on the roller coasters, while I would take our toddler on the baby rides. Once my husband and the older kids got off the roller coaster, I’d go back on the roller coaster with the big kids (up to 3 people are allowed back on the ride) and my husband would take our toddler to have a snack or go back on the little kid rides. We never missed a ride we wanted to go on!

 4. Disneyland with a toddler is MAGICAL!

I loved every moment of exploring Disneyland with my little boy. Everything was so much more fun because he was with us. He loved everything in Disneyland, and I loved seeing the magic through his eyes.

5. Toddlers fly free

I’m not going to say flying with a toddler is all rainbows and butterflies, but flying with little kids can be really fun and exciting. And if your children are under 2, they fly free! Be sure to bring a tablet and some treats, and just relax and enjoy flying with your kids.

 6. Disney Staff is so kind to toddlers.

I was worried my little boy would be scared of all the characters and staff at Disneyland, but it was actually the opposite! People were so kind to all of my kids.

 7. If all else fails, bring Grandma and Grandpa

Grandma and Grandpa are great helpers in Disneyland! Bring them along. My favorite company, Getaway Today is offering a GREAT deal right now, so you can afford to bring along the whole family.

Hey there! Leave me some comment love!
