I am so excited to introduce you guys to one of my very favorite blogs (and bloggers), Sara and Kate from Our Best Bites. These girls are as amazing and genuine as they get. And they just wrote their THIRD cookbook, 400 Calories or Less with Our Best Bites, which is all about healthy and yummy recipes. I have been trying hard with this pregnancy to eat healthier (and encourage my family to do the same), so let me tell you, I needed this cookbook.
I have their first cookbook, Mormon Moms in the Kitchen, and it is my all time favorite cookbook (hello, Brazilian Lemonades all Summer long). And this new cookbook is just as amazing, only in a much healthier way! Oh, and did I mention each recipe has a photo to go with it. Really, this is a high-quality cookbook.
The recipes in this book are SUPER delicious, like these Cheddar Bacon Burgers with Caramelized Onions… YUM! Now that’s a recipe I can get behind.
And they didn’t skimp on desserts, either. They just brought some lighter versions of our favorite treats, which I love! And they are recipes I can actually feed my family, without slaving away in the kitchen, or having to run to the specialty grocery store for ingredients.
In fact, I’ve already made a couple of their soups. I made their Chipotle Chicken Corn Chowder for a soup night we did with our friends, and I made their Carrot Ginger soup (for under 100 calories per serving!) for my family one night. Both were a huge hit!
