We had a fabulous Halloween.
This Halloween seemed to be a lot more laid back and relaxed than past years. Luckily, my kids are still at an impressionable age, and our costumes weren’t too complicated this year.
Since I’m a mom, I wanted to share photos of my cute kiddos.
Benson was an archery hunter, which was the easiest costume ever. He already had all the camo, so I just sewed an orange vest out of a remnant piece of fleece I found at Hobby Lobby.
He was armed with a stick bow. (Except not at school and church.)
Molly’s Rapunzel costume turned out really cute, and I got A LOT of compliments on her hair, which turned out different than Millie’s but was still great!
I ended up clipping in some of Molly’s hair bows and flowers onto the braid. It looked just like when Rapunzel goes into the city and the little girls braid her hair. I loved it!
And Jack was a “Jack”-o-lantern. Oh my heck, he melts my heart!
Casey had an eyeball in his shirt (on his phone) that looked around at you, and lit up in the dark. I used my iron on vinyl and made him a little cyclops guy, who also glowed in the dark.
And, when you’re the mom, making everyone else’s costumes comes first. So I threw on a pair of antlers and became the hunter’s prey.
Did you guys make your kids’ costumes? Or your husband’s? Did you dress up?
I’d love to see what you did! Leave me a link to your Halloween blog post, and I’ll make sure to check it out!
